2024 Summer Program Counselor Q&A: Jeremy Loss ’22

August 28, 2024

Each summer, Forman School alumni return as Summer Program Counselors. We asked the 2024 alumni counselors about their goals, experiences, and how Forman prepared them for college. Jeremy Loss ’22 attended the Summer Program as a student and was excited by the opportunity to give back to Forman.

Q: Why did you want to become a Forman Summer Program Counselor?

A: I attended the Forman Summer Program the year before my freshman year at Forman and had an amazing time.

Q: Did you attend the Forman Summer Program as a student? If so, what did you enjoy about the program?

A: Yes, I did. The classes I took were great experiences, and I met other prospective students who I’m still friends with to this day six years later.

Q: What were you looking forward to most about being a counselor?

A: [I was most looking forward to] reuniting with some of the other former students and meeting new people.

Q: Where do you go to college, and what are you studying?

A: I attend Dickinson College, and I am pursuing a degree in Psychology.

Q: How do you feel Forman prepared you for college and life after high school?

A: I feel like Forman did a great job preparing me for school but especially well in preparing me for life.
